Our founder who started....what we do!!

Lorie LaSala, Founder
Lorie began directing choirs in 1994, with 12 students in her living room. The following year, she started HHS which would evolve into The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts. It grew into Central Lancaster County Homeschool Music (CLCHM), with a choral department, an instrumental department, followed by a theatre department. Lorie also ran numerous state music festivals, took students on singing tours, taught private violin and piano lessons, while homeschooling her 4 children. She and her husband, Bruce, are currently enjoying their 3 grandchildren while developing Urban Honey of Lancaster. Many thanks to Lorie for her faithfulness to the Academy during her 21 years of service.
